New Clarets

Château La Rose du Pin 2005 £8.49

Bernard Ducourt owns this Château and two other properties in
the Entre-deux-Mers, but La Rose du Pin produces the most consistently
delicious dry white and Claret. Another tasty partly oak-aged Claret from
the great 2005 vintage. This ripe plummy Merlot is topped up with
1/5 Cabernet Sauvignon - a must buy!

Chateau Peygueraud 2004 £10.99

The Thienpont family own this Château along with the very
famous Le Pin and Certan. This wine is from grapes grown in the
Cotes de Francs region - a Merlot based wine which is beautifully
textured. Velvety tannins with black currant, floral and black licorice notes.
